The U.S. government has advised its citizens to take time for 150 minutes a week for doing sports. Studies show, people who have been exercising but do not meet the time has been recommended, have a lower risk of coronary heart disease, than those who do not exercise at all.
"Of course, more sports would be better for you. People who do it for 150 minutes per week had 14 percent lower risk of coronary heart disease than those who do not exercise, "says the researcher.
While the people who spend time sports for 300 minutes per week had 20 percent lower risk of coronary heart disease than those who did not exercise. At a higher level of activity again, then the risk will be lower as well.
